Greetings From Guantanamo
Souvenirs From Hell is a combination of a picture of a German souvenir and a picture of American prison camp Guantanamo Bay. Guantanamo is probably the worst place on earth. You bring a souvenir from a beautiful place. This contrast and duality form the concept for this print. The cross visualises my disapproval. The fluorescent orange is a reference to the color of the prison suits worn at Guantanamo.
The text is in German and means: "At this beautiful place I've thought of you and brought along this beautiful picture for you"
